Students participate in rhythmic fitness activities as a warm up to all modified sport activities. Students are introduced to basic skills appropriate for the modified sport activity. All children are inclusive to the activities that are presented. We do not keep score or emphasize winning and losing at this age level. All children are to leave feeling that they are capable and are an important part of the physical education class. The class periods end with a directional cool down of the activity. My feeling that the physical eduction class not only presents children with the opportunity to life activities and skills but the physical activity enables them to stimulate brain activity and prepare the mind and body for optimun learning in class.

I am presently teaching at Cozy Lake and Milton schools. I am at Milton school teaching all PSD classes on Monday and all Kindergarent/ LLD classes on Thursday. On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, I am teaching at Cozy Lake School, all physical education classes and structured recesses.
Physical Education teaches many life skills, sharing, cooperation, taking turns, helping out, encouraging others, organizing and listening to directions. Children need to realize that we are all different and have different talents. These life skills are incorporated into our fitness and skill game activities . My hope is for all children to leave the gym feeling good about themselves, knowing that everyone is able to achieve. Physical education helps children to learn the value of each person they interact with throughout the day. We all need to select and enjoy fitness activities that will keep us healthy throughout our lifetime !! After all, If we don’t take care of the body, Where are we going to live? Enjoy!!!
